In the ICU we had a young man who was critically injured in an accident. Unfortunately, we were not able to help him survive the accident. His girlfriend was obviously very distraught at her loss. Melissa Fuller and two other nurses went out of their way to ensure she had some way to preserve her memory of him. These three coordinated to provide her the opportunity to have a plaster cast of them holding hands after his death. She now has a last token memory of him that these three gave her for years to come.
