Melissa Gall, RN

I saw many different nurses and doctors during my visit through the ER, observation unit, and then finally the surgical floor. And although what I’m about to say may make you think it is her job, in this industry today you don't see people who are caring and dedicated to their patients' needs. Melissa never left me waiting when I called, and often she was close enough that I didn’t have to call, because she could hear the IV alarm from the hallway. I could recall countless moments, but the most important was when she saw I had been declining the heparin. She took a moment and looked closer at my history and saw that I am factor V. When the next dose was due, she offered it and reminded me that it was my decision; however, she explained the purpose of the medication and the importance of accepting it. I appreciated that she took that extra step to determine the impact of accepting or declining on my specific situation and provided me with the knowledge while still giving me the freedom to make the decision. She is an exemplary nurse who puts herself in her patients' shoes and truly cares. Thank you, Melissa, for all you do. You are amazing

She has went above and beyond to make sure my care was great she one amazing women and nurse I couldn't have asked for a better nurse she has made me feel like a human being and let me know it's okay and she had me she was making sure I was going to be okay .

I had a full thyroidectomy and was very nervous. Melissa was my daytime nurse for 2 days. Melissa was the nicest, sweetest nurse; she made me feel at ease and very comfortable. She was patient and kind, soft-spoken, and very empathetic. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a nicer nurse! Thank you
