We have spent 3 days with Melissa, and she has been fantastic for us and our son. Our son came down from ICU, recovering from an epidural hematoma. The whole staff has been fantastic, but Melissa really stands out. Melissa's biggest strengths are compassion, knowledge, and trust. She has been incredible with our son who is quite nervous. Building trust with him and making him feel comfortable.

Melissa has been incredible, warm, and compassionate - asking our son about himself, making him feel safe, and reducing his worry. She has also been knowledgeable in answering all our questions and when she didn't know the answer, finding out for us. She has been a great conduit for all the services and made sure everyone on the team knows what they need to know.

Finally, Melissa shared with us that she is studying for her advanced degree while working full time. Her commitment to her profession is inspirational. She also spent the day training a new nurse. Melissa is indeed an extraordinary nurse and Arnold Palmer is lucky to have her.
