There have been countless situations when Melissa has made a difference. She has and is a primary leader in our unit. She is compassionate, independent, smart, hardworking, motivated, selfless, and the list goes on and on. One example I can give is of a critically ill patient whom Melissa took care of like a pro. Even with the help of others, Melissa's day was nonstop. Not only did she care for her patient for 12 plus hours, but she supported the family with empathy and compassion. She goes above and beyond for patients, families, and co-workers.
