Melissa is one of the best RN's I have worked with in my career. She is extremely compassionate, always nice and smiling, and is an expert in oncology care as well as critical situations. She has extraordinary cultural diversity skills. She speaks Spanish fluently and goes above and beyond in the care of families. Many times I've heard families voicing their appreciation of Melissa's care. She touches their heart and her care makes an enormous difference in their stay at the hospital. Melissa is also a leader in teaching as she precepted many nurses that become skilled RN's and were inspired by her remarkable nursing.
