Melissa Hale, RN

Melissa always goes above and beyond for each patient that she cares for. There was a time that she was caring for a patient on comfort care and truly did everything she could to make him as comfortable as possible. She brushed his teeth, played music, and sat and held his hand until he passed. This is just one of many examples of how she cares for her patients and treats them with respect and dignity. Not only does Melissa give great care to her patients, but she is also always willing to help co-workers in need without even asking. She will help any patient when they press their call light (instead of just telling the nurse) or will replace an empty bag of fluids to help her co-workers. Her bright, cheerful, and happy personality brings light to 4A that we all appreciate. Melissa is honestly a one-of-a-kind nurse who deserves recognition for all of her hard work.
