After delivery, my baby was taken to the NICU. Melissa Henderson immediately noticed I was upset by this and made regular intervals to relay updates to me. Once my epidural wore off, she took the time to roll me in a wheelchair to see my daughter. This was such a huge morale boost for me. In addition, after I began pumping breastmilk, Melissa took the time to wash my pump bottles. She took this upon herself, which was a huge help. Melissa was knowledgeable about all the questions I asked and she even spent some time helping me work on latching. My experience wouldn't have been the same without her.
