My sister had battled lung cancer for about one year. We stood beside her as she went through all of the physical symptoms. After a time, she decided she did not want to fight any longer, but we did not want to let go. Melissa was a huge support for us as we let my sister leave this world…to get her wings.
Melissa has since joined our PCU family, and I cannot be more thrilled to know we have gained such a compassionate, loving and caring nurse. It has taken me eight months to gain the strength to talk about this tragic time in our lives, however, you, Melissa made it tolerable, and I will never forget what you did for us.
