Melissa Kibble, RN-BC

Melissa not only cares for the patients on 3 North, but also for the staff. She is a charge nurse on 3 North and has a strong desire to keep patients safe from falls. Recently, she created a program called “Fall Mall” for the 3 North staff. The “Fall Mall” is a reward system that the 3 North team earns after achieving 30 days of no falls. The staff get to “go shopping” in the “Fall Mall”.

This thoughtful reward program boosted morale and reminded the team of the power of teamwork. Melissa strives every day to keep the patients safe, and her staff is recognised and rewarded. Thank you for everything you do for Porter Hospital!
