Our family was so impressed with the care that he received from Melissa each time she entered the room, she directly faced him and told him who she was and what she was going to do for him, even though he was unresponsive and in a coma-like state. She performed each task in a calm, gentle, professional way. Every time she greeted him or left the room, she gently touched his hand, arm or face in such a loving way. It was if he was her own father. With each visit to the room, she made sure the family had their needs taken care of as well. We spent the night with him for 2 nights. She was so accommodating to our needs. She counseled us as we discussed the need to set up Hospice. We were so impressed with her compassion.
