Melissa Lowe, RN

Nurses here on 3 West Med/Surg unit are extraordinary; they went above and beyond during the COVID surge last year. I come to work knowing that I have a lot of good nurses to work with every day. I saw them during the pandemic with only them running all the COVID units at one time. I would like to recognize Melissa for going above and beyond for her patients I hear her speak our native language (Dine) to our patients since majority of our patients are older Dine people. She works very hard, has compassion, skills, teaches patients, covers others’ shifts, stays late to chart, has a big heart, even through a hard time and getting work done, keeps smiles with difficult patients.
