When caring for a patient who was faced with end of life decisions, Melissa was there! Although she had patients that needed her attention, she took time to sit with the patient & family and explained the diagnosis. She even explained hospice care and reassured the family that great options were available. As a result, the patient was placed at ease and was able to make a decision about his terminal illness.

Melissa demonstrates this same manner of care and compassion with her peers and she recently went above and beyond by helping me, while out on medical leave, assemble documents needed for clinical advancement.
