Melissa demonstrates compassion in all that she does. She treats each patient as if they are her family members. She is an advocate, healer, and a holistic caregiver. She shares her knowledge with her patients and co-workers, and is always looking for "good catches" and ways to improve how we deliver care. She is a true DAISY Nurse!

I was a patient at KH. My nurse Melissa was very knowledgeable, patient, sympathetic, and calm in all situations. She has the ability to explain medical issues in terms that I understood. I have been in the hospital several times in the last year, and have had many good nurses but she stands out. I feel she has passion for what she does.
