Going week after week for cancer treatments can be daunting. Getting treatments, numerous labs and tests done is a rollercoaster of a ride. The nurses at the AHN Robinson Oncology Unit make this ride as pleasant as possible. They are all wonderful nurses, Melissa especially is always very compassionate and works very hard to make sure each patient has what they need, both physically and emotionally. If you are feeling low she will listen to your concerns and is always able to get a smile out of you even when you are feeling blah. She explains changes to treatments well, and always has suggestions of things you can do to make treatments better. It feels more like visiting a wonderful caring family of friends when I go for treatments.
