I came to 3 North after struggling with an addiction that left me in a really dark place. I was a complete mess. I hadn’t had my regular medications for about two days, and I was terrified and extremely sad.

Melissa was very kind, gentle, and reassuring. She was available, flexible, and patient. I don’t easily trust people, but I quickly came to see Melissa as a safe person, someone I could talk to about anything without worrying about judgment. She’s incredibly approachable and helped me through a very difficult time.

Throughout my stay, Melissa has been consistently supportive and compassionate. She checked in with me when I was crying and made me feel seen and cared for.
