Melissa Parker goes the extra mile and creates ways to make patients safe, comfortable, at home, etc. Melissa has a huge heart.
One morning she had an elderly patient who had just lost his only companion, his dog. Melissa listened to the interesting stories of this patient's past history and experiences. Melissa was so touched by this patient, she went to the gift shop and bought the largest stuffed dog she could find and placed it along side of his bed.
When I went in to visit him I commented on his new pet, tears came to his eyes for Melissa's kindness. It truly warmed my heart.
