My patient is here visiting her sister in the Dove House. While visiting, she needed to be admitted to the hospital. The Dove sister's condition took a turn for the worse and I was called to ask if my patient could say her final goodbyes on the phone. Melissa went above and beyond and contacted the doctor and asked for an order to take my patient to the Dove House to see her sister and say goodbye in person. I thought that was amazing for Melissa to think about that and actually contact the necessary people for permission.
