Melissa Ruiz, RN

Professor Ruiz has an enthusiasm for teaching, nursing, and helping humans in a way you have never seen in a professor. She is an obvious example of a passionate nurse and a passionate human. She inspires that passion in each of her students. Professor Ruiz is never afraid to give personal examples of her professional nursing career. Her experiences add value and reality to the topics we are learning. She has compassion, integrity, and utilizes every tool available to her to make a difference in her students' lives.
