I would like to nominate Nurse Melissa because she truly went above and beyond in caring for my dad during a very difficult time. She took the time to patiently answer every question we had about his health, never making us feel rushed or like a burden. She even went back through his chart to clearly explain what his doctors were saying, helping us better understand his condition and what to expect. What stood out the most was how she treated us not just as patients and family members, but as people. She stayed and talked with us about my parents, asking about their lives and how long they’ve been married. That level of genuine care and connection meant more than I can put into words. My dad has been very down and struggling emotionally these past few weeks due to his health issues, but she was able to make him smile—something we hadn’t seen much of lately. She made him feel important, heard, and truly cared for. Because of her compassion, patience, and dedication, she made a lasting impact on our family during a time when we needed it most. She is an incredible nurse and very deserving of this recognition. Thank you, Melissa!

Melissa is the best nurse on staff!! Emotional intelligence is off the charts, she was extremely patient with my husband and she was attentive to me as a companion. Her job knowledge is spectacular; she went above and beyond for our stay.
