I wanted to recognize the amazing work that Melissa has done to nearly eliminate BSIs in the PICU. She has created a dedicated team and a thorough education program to ensure that all our nurses and physicians know the steps we can do to prevent BSIs. She is very passionate about keeping our patients safe and this can be seen through her success of decreasing our BSIs.
