My daughter was having some behavioral, mental health issues that required us to bring her to RGH. As a parent, I could not comprehend how we got to this point and was a total emotional wreck. Melissa was so soft spoken, understanding and compassionate to not only my daughter but to us as her parents. She was great about explaining the options, next steps, and really made us feel much more comfortable in this difficult time. Melissa gave me the biggest, reassuring hug and I cried but felt comforted that everything was going to be ok. It's nurses like this that show compassion and understanding for their patients that make a difference.
