Missy was an outstanding nurse who made sure my wife felt in the loop on everything that was happening, and she was highly responsive to her needs. In addition to great medical care, she offered the best support to our 3 and a half-year-old daughter, E. E was over the moon excited about her little sister but often got a little too excited or stir-crazy being in the room for big parts of the day. Without being asked, Missy would help entertain E, take her on "adventures", and show her how to use different medical items to help fill her time and keep her entertained. I think E loved coming to see and hold her new sister, as much as coming to see Missy! I know nurses work extremely hard, and I can't imagine how much they have to do each and every day. Missy taking the time to care for E and help not just my wife and new baby was above and beyond and will always be one of my highlights from the first few days with our daughter.
