Melissa Spizzo, RN
My mom had suffered a stroke and needed to be placed in rehab to help her recover. Our family was lost and all over the place; it is never easy to figure out the best place to put your loved one.
The day I dropped my mom off at the Paul Rosenthal inpatient rehab, I first met Melissa.
Melissa was the nurse on shift that day, and just her presence alone brought great comfort to my family and me. She was already warm and welcoming. She reassured us with every little thing. She listened to everything and did not rush us at all. She was very compassionate and did not rush my mom at all. No matter how long it took my mom to get her words out, she stood there and listened.
I left here knowing my mom was in good hands. They were so attentive to her and her needs. I really could not have asked for a better staff for my mom during her stay here at the rehab unit
