Melissa has gone above and beyond her nursing duties to meet the needs of my son and our family. My son received exceptional care; she was very attentive to his needs, treated him like one of her own children and was caring and compassionate. When my son was getting his PICC line and my husband and I could not be in the room, Melissa sent us text updates so that we felt more comfortable. She even surprised us with morning coffee from Starbucks. Melissa made what was a very difficult time a positive experience for us. She is very deserving of the DAISY Award.
