I went to Memorial East ER around 8:30 pm for decreased fetal movement. The ER triage nurse who took my initial vitals was so kind and caring, especially given the reason I was visiting the ER. She brought me to the OB floor and chatted with me. She was friendly and told me she would be thinking of me. I hoped all turned out well.

Coincidentally, after I was discharged from the OB unit (all was well, and the baby is still doing great!) I saw the same nurse on my way out, and she asked how I was doing and how everything turned out. I told her that the baby was still doing great and everything was okay, and she showed so much compassion/care and told me she was so happy to hear that she had been thinking of me and that I made her night. This meant so much to me that even after a few hours and dealing with more patients after I saw her in triage, she was still thinking of me and checking to see how I was doing. I still think about this and how much it meant to me! I am thankful for her kindness and compassion!

Thank you, Melissa, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
