Melissa V Stevens, RN
Melissa is one of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever known. She is a superior nurse in all regards and an excellent patient advocate. For the days my husband was in and out of the SICU she always checked on him, even if he wasn’t her patient. She always made sure he was as comfortable as possible and kept his dignity intact. She also always made sure that my daughter and I were taking care of ourselves and offered to get us anything we needed. I don’t think it was a coincidence that she picked up a shift the night he passed away. Having her there holding our hands and rubbing our backs in the moments before he passed was unbelievably comforting.
