Melissa is a very caring and compassionate nurse. Recently a patient's family member called the floor to let us know that Melissa is an extraordinary nurse. He stated that she had went above and beyond her call to duty to take care of their loved one by going home after a 13 hour shift and downloading a song that the patient had mentioned that he liked. She made him a CD and brought it back so he could listen to the song over and over. It provided him a source of comfort. That's why she is extraordinary!
