I'm so happy that I got Melissa as my nurse. She has many hats, she is a caregiver, patient advocate, and decision maker. She is a hand holder, the 3 am vital taker. She is the voice of reason when needed. The next one is my favorite because I am lucky enough to say it with pride. And she is the best friend by the bedside, her calming voice is so needed as is her familiar face when I'm scared or hurt from normal pain or a procedure. To many, me included, she is our guardian angel.
