I met this young lady while I was working the 11 pm to 7 am shift. I have seen her compassion and extraordinary care for her patients. If you stood back and watched her in action, you can tell she loves her job and the pride she takes doing her job. I was put in the hospital and went through surgery. When I woke up and tried to get out of bed and questioned where I was, I was approached and assured by Melissa in the most professional and caring way. I felt at ease. I knew I was in good hands. I calmed down. She told me once she loves ICU because it was challenging, and she loves a challenge. Passavant is lucky to have Melissa, a great RN, on their staff. Because of Melissa my experience at Passavant was a great patient experience.
