Melissa was a rock for us during our hospital stay. She was the first to greet us and get us settled after spending all night in the ER. Her warmth and compassion shined through while explaining next steps and our care plan. She was extremely thoughtful, as I had just given birth a few days prior and came to the ER without packing anything. She helped me take care of my own medical needs by getting me new mom supplies in addition to taking care of our daughter. We were relieved and happy to have Melissa as our nurse again the next night. Her friendly personality helped put us at ease when we were emotional wrecks and scared about our baby. She was very prompt in addressing things and thorough in the explanation. She made a huge difference in helping us feel comfortable in the most uncomfortable situation.
