A caregiver at an adult foster home was impressed by the whole Hospice team but was especially moved by the Hospice nurse who visited. This was a tricky case; a patient with uncontrolled symptoms who had already been unhappy with previous Hospice care from another agency. The adult foster home caregiver cannot even put into words how grateful she is for our help. She was touched that the Hospice nurse “did not leave us.” The hospice nurse provided cares and medications to ensure the patient was comfortable and also provided a calm presence for the staff.
