One day, a patient's wife called the unit in a panic. Her husband was discharged to a rehabilitation facility that day without his medications. The primary care RN was trying to figure out how help this patient, when Mellitsa volunteered to drive to the rehab facility after her shift to deliver the patient's medication. Clearly, Mellitsa is a team player who is dedicated to taking care of all patients.
