Melodie Newton, RN

Melodie always goes above and beyond to care for our patients at MCW. As the House Supervisor, she communicates well with all departments. She will involve all parties to make sure that we are providing the best care possible. Several years ago, Melodie was the acting charge nurse on the floor where my father was a patient. He was to have an in-room procedure that he was very nervous about. She came to his room and sat on the bed with him and held his hand through the whole procedure. She kept talking very reassuringly with him so that he remained as calm as possible. As his family, I could not have appreciated her caring attitude enough. She is truly amazing.
