Melody Jacobo-Rojas, RN

Melody is the ultimate charge nurse. Every time I see she is my charge when coming on shift I breathe a sigh of relief. She genuinely cares about the well-being of her nurses. She is always the first to jump out of her seat to help, whether it's for something minor like bringing meds or supplies to a room or running to an emergency. Melody is an advocate for her nurses, her unit, and the patients that come through here. When I first started here at Seton six years ago, I remember watching her nurse and was in awe of her practice. I wanted and hoped to be at least a fraction of the nurse that she is. Through the years, I have seen her educate, support, and mold countless new grad nurses and I feel lucky to have been one of them. Melody never expects or asks for praise, but deserves it more than anyone. Thank you, Melody!
