I would like to submit this nomination for Assistant Nurse Manager Melody Palaypay, whose exceptional care, compassion, and professionalism made a significant difference during a challenging time for my family. 

My mother's recent admission to Kaiser South San Francisco was marked by Melody's outstanding support and kindness. In a gesture that went beyond expectations, Melody generously allowed me to stay overnight when my mother was admitted around 1 am. Her consideration extended further as she inquired about my well-being, ensuring that I had something to eat that night. This thoughtful act exemplifies Melody's dedication to not only patient care but also the well-being of families during times of vulnerability. 

Melody's professionalism was evident in her every interaction. She communicated with clarity and empathy, creating an atmosphere of reassurance for both my mother and me. Her ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and professionalism was particularly evident when we encountered challenges with our assigned nurse.
