Melody embraces the leadership role as a Clinical Coordinator on the nightshift in ICU. She is committed to initiatives of our leadership team and our hospital. She provides comprehensive customer service by providing education and personally rounds on patients and their families. She assures that noise is reduced during the nightshift in order to provide a healing environment and she follows up in a timely manner with the unit manager or senior leadership. In her clinical coordinator role on the unit, Melody facilitates the ebb and flow of an often busy unit, in addition to supporting the staff and her direct care patients. She is a mentor for new staff, bridging their time from orientation to the real world, and is looked to as a clinical expert by her peers.
