Meme Thomas, BSN, RN

Meme was an awesome nurse from Day 1. The first time I had her as my nurse, I asked her if she could be my nurse everytime. She has a perfect personality for a nurse. She is caring and thoughtful. She answered every question I have asked her. If she doesn’t know the answer right then she looks it up for you. She always made sure I was comfortable. She knows about my family and asks me how they are everytime. She has a big heart and she is funny. We laugh together and I look forward to seeing her at every appointment. If anyone deserves an Award for being an awesome nurse it is Meme. A moment I will always remember was one day I came in and my hair was gone due to chemo. I was practically in tears and Meme pulled up a stool and sat beside me and talked with me. She made me feel like nothing else mattered at that moment. She has been my nurse through all of my treatments because I asked her to be. I just love her and I consider her my friend.
