My mother had high anxiety for many reasons while in the hospital. Mercedes showed nothing but caring and love toward my mom. She quieted my mom's fear and answered any and all questions we had. She knew my mom was scared to be alone and would check on her all the time to make sure she was okay. She constantly asked us if we needed anything, what she could do for us, and if we had any questions or concerns. she advocated for my mom to the doctor that my mom did indeed need some sort of anxiety meds. Thanks to her my mom woke up the next couple mornings pain-free and happy which I have not seen in years. I have not met a more caring, loving and concerned nurse. I wish Mercedes was my sister, we love her.
