Professor Harris truly embodies the qualities of a compassionate and dedicated nursing instructor, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from her.
Harris goes above and beyond to help teach nursing students in a loving, fun, and inspiring way. Every student she has come into contact with has expressed their love for her teaching style. She is very humble, talented, and determined to mold a strong base for all students. She is also a great trainer for new staff. Harris is very knowledgeable about different areas of the nursing field. Harris is an all-around great professor, trainer, and person. The nursing field is privileged to have her.

I would like to nominate Professor Harris for the DAISY Award for her exceptional dedication and care to her students in the nursing program. Professor Harris goes above and beyond to ensure that her students are not only learning the necessary skills to excel in their careers but also providing emotional support and guidance. She takes the time to get to know each of her students on a personal level, showing genuine interest in their well-being and success. One particular instance that stands out to me is when I was struggling with a challenging class rotation. Professor Harris noticed my frustration and took the time to sit down with me, offering words of encouragement and practical advice on how to improve. Her support and reassurance gave me the confidence I needed to push through and succeed in that rotation. Professor Harris truly embodies the qualities of a compassionate and dedicated nursing instructor, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from her. She has made a lasting impact on my education and future career as a nurse, and for that, I believe she deserves the recognition and honor of the DAISY Award.

I feel lucky to have had Professor Harris as my instructor for the last two terms. She teaches in a way that helps her students build confidence in their skills. She makes her classes and simulations enjoyable. I am so thankful for all the things she has taught me!

Professor Harris is an extraordinary faculty member here at Purdue Global. She has helped me so much in developing my self-esteem and feeling confident in myself. She is always so helpful and willing to help in areas we may be struggling with. She never made me feel my questions were stupid. She is one of the best teachers I have had in this program!

Professor Harris is very caring and loves what she does to educate students. She is always willing to help students and assist other faculty when needed. She is very organized and has excellent communication skills and has compassion for students who may be struggling. She always makes herself available to encourage others and assist her peers when needed. What makes her special is her genuine compassion for others and her love for the Nursing profession.
