mercedes nunez, RN, BSN

Mercedes Nunez demonstrates excellent nursing towards every patient she cares for. Mercedes is always encouraging her fellow co-workers to better themselves. She is a mentor to many staff and is the to-go person for many of her nurses and PCTs. Mercedes is a model nurse and she performs from the heart. She is highly complimented by her patients; one incident that remains in my memory is when the patient told me,

"Mercedes has cared for me like no other nurse, and I go in and out of hospitals a lot."

Mercedes Nunez deserves to be the recipient of the DAISY Award for many reasons, one being the best for her patients. The two being a mentor to her peers and thirdly for being an advocate for patients and staff alike.
