Meredith went to the lobby to speak to a woman who needed help. This woman was a victim of domestic violence and didn't know what to do. Meredith convinced her to sign up to be seen, she had several scrapes on her. Meredith then spent the next several hours making multiple phone calls trying to find her a safe place during this time of COVID. She was a strong patient advocate that day while continuing to care for her other patients. She managed to find a safe place for her patient. Meredith came to me several times this day asking for support for her patient's safety. Due to Meredith's diligence, she was able to ensure this woman's safety.
