My father was recently a patient at the Fairview Cleveland Clinic. He went to his eternal home in Heaven on Sunday. While he was a patient at the Cleveland Clinic, one of his nurses, Meredith, was a true angel to our family. Her caring and compassionate demeanor shined through her interactions with both my father (her patient) and my family. Whenever she would speak to my father, you could feel a strong sense of care and compassion in her voice. She always wanted to make sure that my father was comfortable. When she bathed him, she even played music from his era in the background to help soothe him. Each time that she was in my father's room, she would always ask if there was anything she could do for us as well. I have never met a nurse who is so caring! We went through a very difficult time during the final weeks that my father was with us, but knowing that she was there to help care for him helped to ease some of our family's pain. Thank you, Meredith, from the bottom of our heart for being a beacon of peace for my family!
