We had Meredith as our nurse numerous times during our week-long admission. My daughter is a chronic patient and we spend a lot of time here, at St. Joseph's. Meredith is very personable, kind, caring and so empathetic. She is always concerned about our comfort and is a huge advocate for us. She spent many hours calling around to different pharmacies, on a Saturday, to make sure that we could get my daughter's new medication filled. This allowed us to be discharged, instead of having to stay two additional days. That is such a big deal for us, especially after an already long admit. Any concerns I or my daughter had were taken seriously and she worked non-stop to provide answers. She helped to put our minds at ease during a rough part of our stay. She comforted my daughter while she was in a lot of pain and also took time to make sure I was practicing self-care. We are so lucky we had her as our nurse, but St. Joseph's Children's Hospital is even luckier to have her as an employee.
