Merrilee Hawkins, RN, ADN

I had a successful surgery at the Bemidji Hospital. I had 2 large stents. I want to say thank you to all of my nurses, but especially to one of them, Merrilee Hawkins. She attended to me before and after my surgery, my entire day. I can’t put into words the excellent nursing care she gave me; her bedside manner was always pleasant and caring. Merrilee made me feel very special. I was switched to a different room for the night, and before she returned to her different floor, she stopped at my room to see how I was feeling and to wish me good luck. I am a 93-year-old widow, and she made me feel very special. As they say, “She made my day!”
