My husband showed up at the hospital dehydrated and his potassium level was very high. He only has one kidney, and he has cancer. As he got better, he had a hard time drinking fluids and eating. He said it hurt. Merrin talked to him and figured out he had horrible heart burn and got to work on it. She was very kind as she explained to him how important it was for him to get some food in his stomach. That made all the difference, and he has gotten stronger since he was able to eat a little. Her kindness, compassion, and caring nature were wonderful. We are very fortunate to have her as his nurse.
