Merrissa always has a cheerful attitude and is willing to give her time to someone in need of her help. She does whatever possible to make patients feel better, showing compassion and caring when dealing with patient's feelings. She always helped me and was attentive to any issues I had. Merrissa is a great asset to Methodist Hospitals and the nursing staff on 4West. She truly cares for the patients she encounters. During the past year that I have come to Methodist for care, I have personally watched her go above and beyond to make sure patients are comfortable. She has also assisted her co-workers with their patients regardless of whether they asked her or not. I am forever grateful for Merrissa and all the staff on 4 West. If anyone is deserving of this DAISY Award for their outstanding work, Merrissa Wesley of 4 West deserves it. She is a caring, truly sincere person with a beautiful personality inside and out.
