Meto was my nurse after my surgery to remove a very large renal cyst that was causing much havoc in many different organs in my body. I was very anxious after surgery but still groggy from the anesthesia. I was attended to by Meto. His knowledge and nursing skills appeared to be excellent, but his positive attitude and the calm, personalized care he provided to me were priceless. His warmth, friendliness, and smiling bedside manner immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. Meto made me feel like I was his only patient, always taking time with me, never seeming rushed, and sharing personal stories with me that I will cherish forever. Ironically, we had a lot in common, and his sharing and sincere caretaking made me feel like I had made a new friend. He exhibited excellent nursing skills as he managed my pain and educated me in-depth about my medications and post-op orders. The genuine, unselfish time he spent with me made me feel very special. This is what de-escalated my anxiety and probably contributed to my recuperation process so my body could relax and heal. To my surprise, Meto appeared in my room the next morning to visit with me and check my status (apparently on his day off)! Once again, he spent valued time with me and my wife, portraying the wonderful qualities of sincere caring and concern. It is obvious that he is a completely dedicated and passionate nurse and certainly goes above and beyond! Providing the best quality care possible in every nursing aspect appears to be Meto's mantra. I thank him for his impressive and extraordinary care!
