My 22-year-old daughter experienced domestic violence. This experience was devastating for my family. Her brothers and sister were extremely sad. During these times, nothing was more helpful than having a nurse who made me feel like my daughter was the only patient at Rush. Mia not only did her job, she went beyond her call of duty. She even waited around at the end of her shift to do last-minute tasks that she didn’t have to do. Mia, every patient needs a nurse like you. She completely made my daughter calm during the most traumatic experience in her life.

I came to the Kellogg unit during a very rough time in my life. Besides all the great care I had received during my visit here, Mia D was by far the BEST. She was an angel sent specifically for me. Mia has given me very great advice as well as wisdom that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Mia made it her business to go above and beyond for me. I wish there was a way I could pay her back. She listened to my problems with no judgement. I love Mia. Be good to her, Rush.

Mia is an amazing nurse. She took wonderful care of me. One of the best nurses I encountered being here. Thank you, Mia.

Thank you, Mia, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
