Micaela is a very dedicated and knowledgeable nurse to work with. Micaela started out in the Hospital as a labor and delivery nurse which only helped her in her career choice to change to OB/GYN in the clinic. If there is ever a time I am unsure of something I have every bit of confidence in asking for her input. Micaela demonstrates her skill, compassion, and exemplary service to each and every patient!
Micaela received a call from a patient who previously had a fetal demise at 23 weeks, and with this current pregnancy, the baby had a growth restriction. The patient expressed concern with her plan of care. Micaela took the time to listen to the patient voice her concerns, and discuss the patient's care plan.
The patient was then brought in to the clinic for further evaluation. The patient was transported to Labor and Delivery where the baby was quickly delivered.
If it had not been for Micaela and her nursing ability the outcome could have been much different.
It is with great honor that I can say I work with this individual nurse who used all her nursing judgment, compassionate care, knowledge, and commitment to this job for the delivery of a healthy baby.
