When they first brought me to my hospital room I was not in a good mood and I didn't want to be there. This nurse made me feel at home. Michael had the kindest eyes and the most calming energy. When I cried about my hand hurting from the phlebotomist missing the blood stick, the nurse got the blood from my IV. Even though it took longer to do it that way, they still did it instead of how other nurses would have gotten frustrated and given up. A lot of people plaster on a fake smile and just get through the day. This nurse has the most genuine smile and personality. Their bedside manner is great and they are such a skilled nurse. They were my nurse the first night and I was so disappointed when they were off the rest of the week. When they came in Friday and got to be my nurse, it was like seeing family. I feel comfortable asking them any question and I know if I make a request that they will do everything possible to make it happen. They are a hard worker and a great person. Parkland is lucky to have them. I wish they could be a nurse every day. Also, they were very accommodating when my boyfriend came to see me. Great Nurse!!! People like them are rare these days. Just a good soul who is great at what he does.
